Yoga at Brandt Fitness and Self Defense in Fort Worth

Class Descriptions/Yoga for CrossFitters Fort Worth

Flow/Yin: This class starts out with some heat-building and joint-loosening flow and ends with long, slow stretching to open up the hips and shoulders.

Yoga for CrossFitters/CrossFit recovery: This class is appropriate for anyone, whether or not they do CrossFit.  This class combines light flow and yin stretching to release the most commonly stressed muscles after a long week of WODS (workout of the day).

Are mats provided or should we bring our own? Is the Hatha/Vinyasa Flow class non-heated? Are the instructors able to provide modifications for pregnancy or does that disrupt the practice of the rest of the class members?

    • Pam, we supply some extra mats but recommend you bring one if you have it. Our classes are usually about 78 degrees, sometimes that requires we cool it and sometimes that requires us to heat it. We don’t go above 80 degrees, if possible, ever. Instructors are all able to provide pregnancy modifications in all classes as long as they know you are pregnant! Our classes are all appropriate for all-levels. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
