Free Day of Yoga pictures

Our D/FW Free Day of Yoga event at the Magnolia Green was fantastic! Five Brandt instructors (Cherie Schooley, Ashleigh Burns, Tripp Miller, Jamie Merritt and Sarah McClellan-Brandt) led and assisted a class of 56 people at 9 a.m. in 70-degree weather. Thanks to our photographer Paul Marsello for shooting these great photos!

Check out Brandt yoga instructor and avid crossfitter Cherie Schooley in this short session designed to help crossfitters recover from a tough overhead squat and burpee workout. This is also appropriate for anyone in need of a quick shoulder/hip opener.

Quick yoga to improve a busy day

We all know how satisfying a nice, long, hour to hour and a haf of yoga is, but some days there just isn’t the time! On days when time is tight, a little  yoga is better than none at all. Even if you can fit in five minutes of breathing and downdog practice, or a quick headstand, you’ll feel the diffrence. Here’s a quick light practice from Yoga Today to help on days when you just can’t find the time for  full hour.
